There are no more isolated countries on this planet earth. US financial market crunch was supposed to be our own affairs.  But watch out the UK Stocks , Europe stocks, Asia Pacific Stocks, they are also reeling under pressure.

This is a true inclusive world.  But the supposed to be super powers that we are,we don't understand we are affecting this world.  For eight long years under President George Bush, the focus of Bush administration was on war and terrorism counter measures.  We missed a lot of chance for progress on free-trade and negotiations on  wide range of issues on global level.

 Now we need to go back to the board with our heads down to answer questions of the world leaders on our understanding of US economy and its relationship with rest of the world.  If there are no viable answers, then China or India model could be foreruners in the next education reforms of Universities.

The manufacturing jobs have gone to China, the IT outsourced to India, the underlying element is to concentrate on value added services to make this country an ideal nation rather than an idea nation to the world.  We are the most active community in this global village.  We are experimenting all the time; We strive hard to better our own best; all this is with a feeling that we are leading this world in technology, enterprise, education and innovation.  In the last eight years we lost almost all those edges.  Our education and even our concepts are strayed all over after the 9/11 episode when we reacted following the One man advise.  We are very good team players, good followers of our leader.  We had  visionaries like George Washington , John Kennedy and likes.

Are we struggling for leaders?  I would say there is no dearth of talent or leadership qualities in our cadre. The catch word here is "direction".

We are at the moment directionless.  Where is my leader who can show our direction for the next 20 years?  Where is my leader who will not kindle the fear psychosis to keep the nation to ransom of billions or trillions of dollars?  Where is my leader who can inspire this nation to do everything positive for this country and to the entire world?  Where is the leader who can take us to Mars and establish the first U.S.City in that planet?

I am US Citizen, I have history of standing on top of the world for my achievements. My country has fought and won human freedom. My country has fought and struggled for consumer rights and have them now, My country has laboured hard to remove Governmental controls that restricted human development and individualism for these many years and now is on the winning side, My country never wanted religious francies, My country struggled for hundreds of years to remove the dividing ridge based on colour of our skin, now on the path to further progress what my country need at this hour is the loftiest heights for human civilisation, we just need a leader , where is he?  Show me the leader, then no problem is big for me!
